Architectural Coordinator

Full Time

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Planning Manager to coordinate design detailing between Clients and Consultants

  • Review, update and coordinate all architectural work including shop drawings for the project

  • Resolve all site architectural issues (eg drawings discrepancies, method statements or correspondences) and implement the right methods to ensure quality and productivity, using BIM software or equivalent.

  • Liaise and coordinate with sub-contractors and vendors on projects and work to alleviate conflicts, dispute and abortive work

  • Ensure compliance with Architectural specifications, and achieve quality aspect of architectural works without deviation to authority requirements

  • Carry out architectural works scheduling, material requisition, cost control, project supervision and documentation in accordance to Master Programme

  • Review project specifications, tender clarifications and construction drawings for Contract/Procurement management

  • Prepare any necessary construction method statement and technical proposal to ensure smooth transition of works

  • Inspect, resolve and monitor rectifications for in-progress work

  • Coordinate all architectural drawings and works, submit and update status of shop drawings, samples, mock up, and materials as well as supervise work progress

  • Liaise closely with client, consultants and sub-contractors; conduct routine inspection of installed works

  • Preparations and coordination on QM/ CONQUAS Assessments

  • Compilations and handing-over of Architectural documentations including As-built drawing submissions

 

Requirements:

  • Relevant Degree / Diploma in Architecture or its equivalent

  • Minimum 4-5years experience, preferably with CONQUAS/QM experience on PPVC or PBU projects

  • Understand the specifications, drawings, scope and sequence of works

  • Ability to interpret construction drawings for any discrepancies

  • Awareness of requirements of relevant authorities (i.e. BCA)

  • Good team player

  • Completed QM project and a registered Core-trade Foremen/ Supervisor would be an added advantage
